High-throughput biology techniques, especially in genomics, have dramatically improved researchers’ ability to characterize microbial communities. However, these techniques need to be supported by up- and downstream applications ranging from sample extraction to quality control. To execute these assays, researchers turn to configurable, flexible, and automatable microplate readers, which are invaluable tools for microbiome research.
